Paula Bourges-Waldegg is neither a physicist nor a biologist, although she wishes she could be one just to wear a white coat for work. She is not a painter, a poet or a musician but she seems to have good taste. Paula is not an anthropologist, an engineer, a psychologists or a veterinarian, even though these were all her true vocations at some point in life. She is not a surgeon although some of her colleagues call her doctor.

Paula is not a senior business analyst, an executive communications manager, a Beverly Hills socialite or the vice president of Viacom. She isn’t a member of the Colombian guerilla, an advisor to the president of Gambia, or a Slovakian tennis player. Paula is not an alcoholic, a workaholic, a shopaholic, or a victim of psoriasis. She is not a catholic, a muslim nor a jew.  Paula is not a hot blond, a top dog, a bighead, a drag queen, a fat cat or a French poodle, definitely not a poodle. She is not a bad person even though she sometimes wakes up in a bad mood. In summary, Paula Bourges-Waldegg is not entirely sure who she is, but at least she knows who she’s not.
